is it ok to burn scented oil?
Pretty basic, I have some left over oil from a scented oil and reed set, and have a ton of empty tealight candle tins and a roll of wick. can I pour some of the oil in the tin and use a wick to burn a nice smelling candle? the oil bottle doesnt have an info other than saying it uses herbs and flowers and essential oils, is it safe to burn? the website doesnt specify if it uses petroleum based oil either. should i do a mix of the oil and some water also? (a trick i learned with old oil lamps to make the oil last longer and use all of the oil when the wick first goes out.)
Corn oil is the best choice to mix with oil base scent. Put it on the top of fire proof large table and no table cloths. And make sure no cat or other pet running in the house. Cut the wick short to maintain no smoke lighting with oil.
