A Deadly Rhyme.
From the waves that rolled away
To the ships that set at bay
I waited for you on the sand
While I made hearts with my hand
Days became nights
Darkness filled the light
Yes I was still there
I’ll still wait because I care
The little candle on my desk
Is the only warmth in my chest
The stars up above always remind me of our love
Bright and Fading
But they’re never hating
The sound of quiet fills my ears
My thoughts haunt me with my fears
Never coming home
I should have known
A small light from the moon
Shines upon this gloomy rune
I trace the outline of your name
For your death, I am to blame
My soul shall lie here
While holding your heart dear
I want to lie cold in the ground like you
There is room inside for two
Your soul haunts me at darkest times
The saddest song playing deadly chimes
Cold sad music fills the air
Pain overflows, with sadness I can’t bear
I want to see you one last time
When we end our deadly rhyme….
It’s really good. It flows together really well when you read it so there’s no akward pauses and its got a lot of emotion in it. You should definately write more!!!!!
