poll – What is a fair price for candles?
im selling candles that i hand poured myself. they are good quality wax and highly scented (i could smell the lit candle thru out my living room). they are 12 oz candles and will burn for about 80 hrs. What is a fair price to resell these candles at? i was think between 10-15? too much?
What kind of Candles are they,
Paraffin, Soy, Palm, Beeswax, Coconut Wax, blend…..?
I assume Container candles, not pillars.
Well I sell my container 14.5oz Soy candles for 19.79 ( year me and my wife were born) , and my 8oz for 12.95 and my 4oz for 5.95.
We sell about 175-200 a week. ( Direct Sales, Wholesale and Internet) ( we buy a lot of Jars and wax )
Unless there is a trade show then a few more.
Most of our trade business is followed by online sales.
We started out just selling them to friends and at work, then after about 2 months, I bought a booth at a local trade center, and have been there for over 2 years. It is a pretty good deal.
My wife manages it and I still work normally, and we both make the candles. ( Every Night) lol
After about 6 months we started making almost as much as I was getting paid as a Finance Director.
