TO remember beloved dog who has crossed over?
My beloved dog crossed over not that long ago and I would like to do something to remember him by. I have no ashes. Should I plant a tree in the spring time, burry his fave toys and sweaters in the forrest where we used to play.. What could I do in his memory. I would also like to get a plant that lasts where I can light a candle for him when I want to remember him…What is a good plant?.

I think something that will last a really long time would be good. Maybe you could have some soft of plaque made up in his memory or make a donation to the aspca on his behalf. That would be special because his donation would help some other poor animal. Or maybe a tree that will outlast us. When we lost our first dog, I bought my sister a ring and had his name inscribed in it. She never takes it off. The most important thing is to keep his memory alive in your heart. I think of Zachary (dog who passed) all the time and still get teary over him 4 years on. I have his photos all over the place and I speak of him often – particularly with my family who knew him best. I’m so sorry for your loss.
