Understanding daily stock movements?
On a particular day, I observed 20 top positive market movers. 8 of them were affected by good news. I am seeking to understand the factors that contributed to the rise of the remaining 12.
Could the factors be:
•Oversold stock (if yes, how is it determined?)
•EMA cutting share price from below.
•Candlestick patterns indicating reversal of trend.
•Broker recommendation.
•All of the above.
•None of the above ( something completely different).
Your input is greatly appreciated.
