Sure, their first album had a pop vibe to it, but that doesn’t make it mainstream.
And for the people who say that they ’sold out’ do you really measure your values of music that way? I should hope not.
I love the band and their look but i dont really care for their music. I loved the first album alot but the second. well its not that people dont like them or the music but i guess im one of the people that was expecting something like their last album. i can understand that they wanted to drop the emo sound and pick up a more up beat thing but honestly many fans werent ready for a change from them. thats why i lost interest in their music. i wanted something like their last album. i wasnt ready for change.
but i will give them one thing the change brought a different veriety of fans for them some emo, hardcore, and others preppy and pop so they know how to appeal to different audiences. Im a goth chick that loves panic at the disco and that wont change
