How do you remove a full candle from a jar?
I want to remove a candle from a large apothecary jar, so that I can cut it up and use it in my tart warmer.
What’s the best way to remove a candle whole?
Glass apothecary jars are usually curved. It would require heating the candle. Safest suggestion:
- Sit candle on a warming plate.
- Pour small amounts of the melted wax into a mold (dixie cups work for tarts) and you get the jar unharmed.
