Incase you have read my previous 17 articles, by now, you would know I am a kinda person, for whom sitting quiet, idle, brooding over the past, being sad etc…… is a thing next to impossible!!!
Also you must have guessed that I love to keep muttering – talking, giggling, laughing, going mad over pathetic jokes. To cut the long story short – enjoying life – Making the most of it. You know what, this also happens to be our Corporate Mission. Kewl na!!!!
Alrite, so not beating around the bush, coming straight to what I am supposed to pen down my views on – Surprise!!!!! – What can it do for you????
Just a simple exercise/ a game if you would like – Imagine yourself to be a Fairy. Hypothetically you have the liberty to think anything right??? For a change really imagine, believe me you will love the experience. So, if you are a Fairy, Surprise is the magical wand that is beautifully placed in your hand, as you must have seen in fables and movies.
Feeling happy and beautiful – I told you, you will!!!
Wait the best part is yet to begin!! Now since you are a Fairy, your goal is to make world a better place to live in. Rather let’s put it – a happier place!! – Feeling great and happy, right??? Still hold!!!
So, my dear Fairy how do you think are you gonna make this world a happy place??

Yeah baby, I did!!! I don’t like just talking. Practice makes the world respect you, otherwise you find many who just love to preach and you think – why is it my turn today and feel like throwing something around you.
So, Fairy Namita gives loads of surprises to the ones she loves.
Recent example – It was a birthday of a colleague, whose kinda staying all alone. What I did was I told him I would get lunch for him just one day before his birthday which was on a holiday – he is a foodie and was as it very happy with this very suggestion. I went shopping, got a lovely wallet, made a beautiful yummy cake, decorated the knife with the silky smooth satin ribbon.
Next day, when I met him to hand over his tiffin, I first gave him a lovely bouquet – his eyes shone and his smile extended almost from one end of his ear till the other.
Later I gave him the cake, put the candles on, handed over the beautifully wrapped knife and asked him to cut it. When he blew off the candles, I sang “Happy Birthday” song and he was extremely happy. We fed each other the cake, I handed over the gift to him as an advance wish for his birthday and went back to work.
He smsed me later saying this was the best day of his life!!! He was so happy that he doesn’t know how to put his feelings in words
Same funda on my boss’s birthday. I didn’t make the cake though we took him out for lunch but similar surprise with a similar feedback from him.
Similarly, I have planned my friend’s sinister party and Professor’s birthday.
Another cost effective way is giving genuine praises on a job well done. Believe me it works wonders. To share a secret – if a lady friend does a good job, I even tell her that was just as beautiful as she is and I love her. Sounds crazy and funny right???
Another way is dropping personalized smses just to let the ones that matter to me know they are remembered and I care for them.
“Do unto others what you would like the others do to you.”
In todays mad rush, we just keep unimportant things piling up our blood pressure level and don’t bother to let our dear ones know how much they mean to us and how much we care.
My Prof, Iqbal Jiwani, when his mother expired, told us, “I loved her too much. Today when she is gone, I have so much to tell her and thank her about. Just a word of advise – take care of your loved ones now, show them how much you care and how much they mean to you. When they are gone, it’s the worst feeling to discover you wasted your time running after things rather than thanking them to build the strong foundation on which you stood firm!!!!!

Shut this, strategize on the most important wealth of your life – your loved ones – Mind you – this includes your parents, teachers, siblings, friends, spouse, kids, niece – nephew, relatives, colleagues, boss, mentors, grand parents, grand childrens bla la bla – almost everyone on earth who you feel is a contributor to where you have reached today – how do you make them happy to be the most important part of your life?????
And believe me there no better feeling that seeing a face light up and knowing that the reason behind that beautiful smile is you!!!!
